Tex has an outstanding personality, very friendly, biddable, and easy to work.
He has exceptional power yet he is kind to his stock. Tex works cattle and sheep
equally well. He has proven himself as an outstanding ranch dog as well as on the
trial field.
Tex has won the World sheepdog Championship at the Calgary Stampede in 2006
and again in 2008. He won the International Stock dog Championship at the Canadian
Western Agribition in 2006 and was 2nd in 2007. He won the Western Canadian
driving Championship in 2004. He has also won and placed in many other open trials.
Tex has not competed since July 2008 due to back injury but we hope to have him
back in competition in 2010.
Tex is a true breeder. Most of his pups have his style and working traits. He has sired numerous ranch and trial dogs across North America.
